MUNACIELLO

IGP CAMPANIA PRIMITIVO

Munaciello Primitivo, cultivated using the Guyot training system, grows on the clayey, calcareous, mineral-rich land at the foot of Mount Petrino, in the Incaldana area—a place renowned for its therapeutic properties thanks to the presence of a sulfur water spring. These essential elements enrich the vineyards, endowing the wine with unique characteristics, and emphasise the fundamental importance of the culture of Terroir.
The colour is an intense ruby red tending toward garnet hues. The enveloping bouquet evokes sour cherries (Prunus cerasus) and plums. On the palate this wine is full and round, supported by soft tannins that enhance its depth and complexity.
Ideal when paired with red meats, game, and rich dishes typical of Mediterranean cuisine.

Sommelier Sergio Franchitto

A figure born of Neapolitan folk culture, the Munaciello is a benevolent and generous little spirit. When he wears his red habit, he embodies a unique aura, imbued with both sacredness and profaneness, fantasy and reality, of a magical, mysterious, and extraordinary land that grafts the values of its tradition onto modernity.

In the popular imagination of Neapolitans, Bella ’mbriana represents the female embodiment of the positive spirit that dwells within homes. A fantastical, divine figure expressing the fundamental values rooted in the domestic hearth, whose violation inevitably leads to misfortune.

SCÌRPIA

IGP CAMPANIA ROSÉ

Born on the slopes of the renowned Mount Massico area in Mondragone, with yields of 70–80 quintals per hectare, Scìrpia stands out—with its 14% ABV—for its robust structure and bold character, typical of the Primitivo grape, combined with the lightness and vibrancy characteristic of rosé wines. This impeccable combination creates a wine of outstanding experiential impact and high quality.
The winemaking process involves cold fermentation at 15°C for 15–20 days, followed by 5 months of ageing before bottling.
In the glass, it displays a vivid, brilliant pink color reminiscent of onion skin, with bright reflections, offering a further glimpse into the wine’s personality. On the nose, pleasant notes of Mediterranean herbs with hints of wet stone can be detected. The body is round, well-structured and smooth, with a silky finish that pleasantly envelops the palate.
It pairs well with risottos, white meats, flavourful fish dishes such as tuna and amberjack, and semi-aged cheeses. Thanks to its versatility, it is also ideal as an aperitif.

Sommelier Sergio Franchitto

A synonym for “witch,” the Scìrpia is often depicted in southern Italian folklore as riding wildly through the night on horseback. She is the symbolic representation of a universe rich in esoteric rituals, still waiting to be fully discovered.
